Ayurveda Practicals In Kerala . 14 days Programme.

Students can see and study more about Ayurveda, can go with Dr.Jeevan to Kerala for an Ayurvedic practical programme every year during the month of August.

Following is the schedule: --

1. Study of 10 important medicinal plants their actions, usages and medicinal preparations.
2. Preparation of medicated oils (Thaila), medicated ghees(Ghruta) and Decoctions(Kashaya).
3. Visiting Botanical gardens ( medicinal plants) & Ayurvedic pharmacies.
4. To see the patients and diagnose the diseases in an Ayurvedic clinic.
5. Study of treatment methods like Navara kizhi, Siro Vasthi, Tarpanam by working together with Kerala Ayurvedic Therapists.

Course Fee: 1500 Euro. Flight ticket, Visa charges are extra.

Students can have a practical training in an Ayurvedic centre at Bad Windsheim ( Lotusblüte Ayurveda) with Dr. Jeevan after the completion of Module 5.

Following is the schedule: --

1. Purva Karma like abhyangam, Sirodhara, Pizhichil, Kizhi, Sirovasthi, Kativasthi and udwartanam can be done depending on the patients to be treated.
2. Assistance in Panchakarma procedures like Nasyam, Sneha Vasthi and Kashaya vasthi.
3. Taking part in Ayurvedic consultation.
4. Evaluation of the practical work.
5. Documentation of the treatment schedule.

Accommodation can be arranged with a price starting from 12 euro up to 50 Euro per day.

Ayurveda Internship in Kerala .

Students of Ayurveda-Care can do an internship in an Ayurvedic hospital for 1 to 3 months. This programme will be designed for individuals and groups accordingly. Teachers and the syllabus for this programme are arranged by Ayurveda-care depending on the needs/ requirements of the students. Accommodation and pure vegetarian food are included in this intensive internship programme. This programme takes place throughout the year.

Following is the schedule: 1 month Programme

1. Study of 20 important medicinal plants, their actions, usages and medicinal preparations.
2. Preparation of medicated oils (Thaila), medicated ghees(Ghruta) and Decoctions (Kashaya), Elixirs (Lehyas), Herbal powders (Chunas) and Arishtas.
3. To see the patients and diagnose the diseases in an Ayurvedic clinic under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor.
4. Studying treatment methods like Dhara, Vasthi, Pinda Sweda of different varieties by working together with Kerala Ayurvedic Therapists.

3. Working in an Ayurvedic pharmacy to understand the names and posology.
4. See the patients and diagnose the diseases in an Ayurvedic clinic under the supervision of an Ayurvedic doctor.
5. Studying treatment methods like Dhara, Vasthi, Pinda Sweda of different varieties by working together with Kerala Ayurvedic Therapists.
6. Studying of common Panchakarma nutritional guidelines, usages of spices for Ayurvedic cooking.
